Building healthy bodies

We are Fit for Life, a community inspired health and well-being initiative based in Hackney. We are focused on cultivating positive, life-long habits.

Our vision is to inspire and promote wholesome healthy living as a lifestyle, as opposed to short-term diets and seasonal weight loss goals.

I started training with Fit for Life during the 2020 lockdown and it has completely changed my way of thinking, eating and living.

“As a larger woman being self-conscious is a given, but working out and eating properly has transformed my life.

The personal touch of a one-to-one session is a huge factor, and the compliments I’ve been receiving regarding my weight loss have made me even more committed to continuing my journey.”

For me, having a personal trainer is a firm commitment to weekly exercise, even when I don’t feel like it.

“The combination of cardio, weight training and boxing has really helped me develop and maintain my strength, resilience and physical confidence.

Fit for Life’s supportive and responsive sessions give me motivation and a sense of progress, and I always come out feeling better than when I went in!”

My stamina and fitness has improved to the point where I feel great after every session.

“Colin is a fantastic trainer. I’m a happy-go-lucky person, so I’ve really benefited from the focus of the boxing sessions. Now I feel like Michelle Obama!

I would highly recommend Fit for Life to anyone who wants to improve their life. Ten months later I have no regrets about signing up!”

Lesley

Training with Fit for Life has opened up a world of fitness possibilities to me.

“Being naturally quite fit I was not really into organised exercise, but the thorough consultation and personalised training has made me realise the importance of factors such as musculoskeletal strength, a balanced diet and cardiovascular health.

The training sessions are always a pleasure, and Fit for Life helps me get the best out of myself.”
